Sirius Productions, LLC is a dream of mine that was finally realized in April of 2004. I have spent my life working in the visual arts in one form or another. My journey began in the early 1980’s when I started working at KLAX, the local television station in Alexandria, LA. I started working as a master control operator and when I left seven years later I was a commercial producer and technical director.
In 1991 I moved to New Orleans to work at WNOL, where I was the production manager. After a few more years in television I struck out on my own to do freelance video production. In 1999, I was presented an opportunity to move to Las Vegas and do audio-visual production for the convention industry. After a few years I decided to join the local IATSE union and continue working in the industry. My work gave me lots of opportunities to do camera work, including becoming a jib operator, as well as working with lots of interesting clients.

While the work was interesting and gave me the opportunity to experience many things I realized that my true first love was still photography. I bought my first “real” camera when I graduated from high school and haven’t stopped taking pictures since. I did my first professional work in the late 1980’s. Throughout my years in the convention industry I have done several projects as show photographer. Professionally I plan to continue to do convention and business photography with an occasional portrait job if the subject is right. Personally I hope to continue shooting the beauty around me – landscapes, the night sky, my four legged children and of course my wife.
Oh, about the name – Sirius is now quickly becoming a senior citizen but he will forever be immortalized as the “face” of Sirius Productions, LLC.
Let's hope it gets good ones soon!
